They provided us with an enlightening experience and helped us understand the differences between hot and cold vintage years, age of the vines and soil types. Owing its name to the brick-red volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills, the Red Hills Pinot Noir begins in a site slightly warmer than most in the appellation.
