My 8' x 10' shed is supported by 4 - 4x4x10' PT on 3/4" gravel 12' x 12' base. I attached 1/2" x 1/2" x 1' tall galvanized fencing around the bottom entire perimeter with it buried in the gravel. Inside, the floor feels solid with 3/4" exterior plywood used. Three years now and the under side still looks like new.
