klhansen. If it was a cracked injector cup, your coolant tank would be puking fuel out of the cap. It would be pressurized only when your fuel pump was running. I suppose you could hot-wire the fuel pump and see if the coolant level rises. But you'd see fuel floating on top if it's gotten high enough to reach the cap.

Would be fine around town but when you got out on the highway - the headgasket was leaking enough to put excess pressure in the coolant system and force coolant into the overflow and out the oveflow. Check that the cap is securely fastened and sealing OK.
