Take Hwy 26 to Salmon Rd for 3 mi. The trail head is clearly marked. It's relatively flat the entire way after your initial climb from the parking lot. The river view is so beautiful and shady the entire way which was good because it was in the high 70's that day. Round trip is about 3.5 - 4 mi.
