the sonoran dogs was formed in 2011 when renowned japanese guitarist maro kawabata asked us to put together a band for a brief tour in arizona. since maro's departure, the band has been going strong for over a decade touring extensively throughout the southwest us, australia and new zealand playing festivals and teaching at music camps.
